Area Sales Manager – Oncology Sales
Strand seeks Business Development Manager/Area Sales Manager in Mumbai, Lucknow, Kolkata, Coimbatore, and Bangalore. Preferably with Molecular Diagnostics Industry experience, especially in Oncology. Reporting to the Zonal Sales Manager, they’ll define and execute go-to-market plans, establish strategic deals with healthcare institutions & KOLs, prioritizing patient wellbeing.
Job Requirements:
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets in the assigned geographical region.
- Assess market, prioritize portfolio opportunities, & execute go-to-market plans.
- Cultivate relationships with clinicians & Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in core areas.
- Establish MOUs and enhance business engagement with key healthcare customers by addressing their challenges.
- Organize regional & local marketing events in collaboration with Marketing team.
- Stay updated on advancements in Next Generation Sequencing and standard of care in Oncology and other disease areas.
- Take full accountability for each sample/case, ensuring timely progression from order to reporting.
- Serve as the primary customer contact in the region and handle issue resolution.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in the Molecular Diagnostics Industry.
- Experience in and knowledge of Oncology is preferred.
- Good understanding of the genetic testing landscape.
- Academic degree in Science, particularly in biotechnology, would be a plus.
- Willingness to travel 70% of work time.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in the local language is preferable.

Area Sales Manager – Rare Diseases & Reproductive Health
Strand is hiring Area Sales Managers/Business Development Manager in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Kerala with Molecular Diagnostics experience, preferably in Prenatal & Pediatric Genetics. Reporting to the Zonal Sales Manager, they will define & execute go-to-market plans, achieve sales targets, & establish strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions & Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), prioritizing patient well-being.
Job Requirements:
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets in the assigned geographical region.
- Assess market, prioritize portfolio opportunities, & execute go-to-market plans.
- Implement mechanisms to monitor and track pipeline progress and achieve fulfillment targets.
- Build trusted relationships with senior Clinicians and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Establish MOUs and enhance business engagement with key healthcare customers by providing solutions.
- Foster relationships with professional society stakeholders in the geographical area.
- Organize regional and local marketing events, including roundtables and client-site functions, in collaboration with the Marketing team.

- Experience in and knowledge of Reproductive and Rare Disease is preferred.
