Radhakrishna Bettadapura, or RK, is Vice President, Business Development, at Strand Life Sciences. RK holds a Ph.D in Computational Biology and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and his background is in engineering, computer graphics, and computational biology. RK started at Strand as a software engineer, writing specialized software for fast DNA variant analysis. In his current role, he heads BD for the research informatics division, and is responsible for increasing Strand’s business footprint in the United States.
